As you are aware, the Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) is organizing participation of member-companies in the above Fair in Shanghai, China from 13 to 15 October, 2015. In this connection, an amount of Rs.3.20 lakhs has been fixed for participation in the Fair with a furnished booth of 9 sqm sized. As regards the re-imbursement of a part cost of participation charges in the Fair, only 10 eligible participants will be given financial assistance of Rs.1.25 lakhs through the Scheme of Market Development Assistance (MDA), which is administered by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
In this context, we are glad to inform you that exporters of Made-up items/fashion accessories (scarf, stoles, shawls, etc.) will get an excellent opportunity to showcase / exhibit their products at a separate specialized section called “Accessories Section” at the above exhibition. An amount of Rs.2.65 lakhs will be charged for participation in this specialized section with a furnished booth of 9 sqm size. Accordingly, an amount of financial grant of Rs.1.25 lakhs will be offered to eligible member-participants through MDA Scheme, who will be showcasing made-ups items / fashion accessories.
Considering limited amount of MDA fund availability, only 10 eligible member-participants will be given the said financial grant of Rs.1.25 lakhs, as mentioned above. However, since the Council has already received Applications from 9 such eligible participants for claiming the above mentioned financial grant from the Council, we are currently left with only one unused slot for offering MDA grant to cover part participation charges of a member-company. Hence, participation in the above Fair will be confirmed on “first-come-first-serve” basis.
A Fact Sheet – providing basic details of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabric Show, which is self-explanatory, is attached herewith to enable you to have a glimpse of overall arrangements / set up of the above-mentioned Mega Event in Shanghai, China.
As you are aware, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel-Fabric & Made-ups Expo, which is one of the largest Fairs of fabrics and accessories in Asia, attracts a large number of discerning foreign buyers from various overseas destinations. The Fair offers an excellent one-stop opportunity to meet leading buyers including commission agents, wholesalers, representatives of leading chain stores /buying houses, textile traders, fashion designers etc. from China as well as other leading countries, explore new market opportunities – learn about future trends in fashion / business and overall, to add value to business.
In view of the above, all those having interest in participation in the above formats of the Fair, are requested to immediately confirm their participation with full payments of their participation charges and dully filled in Application Forms.
