Sub: Invitation to attend the Virtual Maritime India Summit 2021 from 2nd to 4th March, 2021
Dear Member,
The Council has received a communication from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) informing about the Maritime India Summit 2021 being organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to promote both domestic and international investment in the Indian Ports and Maritime sector.
Details of the Summit are as follows:
Date: 2nd to 4th March, 2021

Participation Fees: No registration fees but Prior registration is mandatory

Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the Summit on 2nd March 2021 at 11:00 am.
The Summit while showcasing abundant opportunities in the maritime sector in India will also provide an excellent forum for exchange of ideas and networking. Investment opportunities exist in all segments of the Maritime Sector viz development of world class ports, modernization and development of new berths/terminals in existing ports, connectivity projects (road, rail and inland water transport), coastal shipping, cruise tourism, maritime education & training, shipbuilding & ship repair, ship breaking, dredging and development of ‘Smart Port Industrial Cities’.
The Summit will be attended by various stakeholders in the maritime sector such as policy planners, domestic and international investors, experts, shipping lines, representatives of major ports from across the world.
Members may kindly make a note of the above details and attend the Summit.
