Sub: Initiation of Anti-dumping investigation by Brazil on Polyester Textured Yarns covered under HS Codes 5402.33.10, 5402.33.20 and 5402.33.90, originating from India and China.
This is in continuation to earlier Circular dtd. March 16, 2020 on the above-mentioned subject.
We would like to inform that the Council has received the Links for downloading the Petition and Questionnaire from the Embassy of India in Brazil.

For your ready reference, a copy of each of the abovesaid documents downloaded from their website is enclosed (Password to open is 7Kjdsp ).
Please note that the response to the Questionnaire is to be filed within 30 days.
The Deadline mentioned on their website is as follows:
- Selected exporter that does not request an extension: 04/24/2021.
- Selected exporter requesting extension: 05/24/2021, maximum.
- Voluntary response from exporters: 24/04/2021.
Further, we have also attached a copy of the official letter [both in Portuguese (signed version) and English (unsigned version) addressed to the Ambassador of India to Brazil informing that the Special Secretariat of International Affairs and Foreign Trade (SECEX), Ministry of Economy of Brazil has now launched the 'Anti-Dumping' investigation on Textured Polyester Filament Yarns (except Sewing Thread)' originating from India and China.
Please refer the letter as it also contains the link to download the questionnaire, the documents related to the petition and the investigation.
Both English and Portuguese versions of the Petition and Questionnaire are attached for ready reference.
