Sub : Interactive/Business Session to popularize the INSTC (International North South Transport Corridor) Route among potential stakeholders in an attempt to divert trade from the conventional route to the INSTC route
Dear Sir,
We wish to inform you that the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry in association with Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) and UCO Bank will be organising an Interactive/Business Session to popularize the INSTC Route among potential stakeholders in an attempt to divert trade from the conventional route to the INSTC route.
The objective of International North South Transport Corridor (INSTC) is to improve effective transport from India (Mumbai) through Iran to Russia and Eurasia. The INSTC is cheaper by 30% and takes 40% shorter time to reach its destination than the current routes.
The Interactive/Business Session would be held in December 2015 at Mumbai. It will be a one day Session.
