Sub: Inputs for the India-Indonesia WGTI meeting on 27 May 2021_issues related to textiles.
The Council has received communication from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry that the 1st meeting of India-Indonesia Working Group on Trade and Investment (WGTI) is scheduled on 27 May 2021 and the Government is in process of finalising agenda items for the meeting.
Indonesia is an important and potential market for exports of Indian MMF textiles. Therefore, to help the Council send the pertinent export related issues with Indonesia to the Ministry in advance pertaining to the MMF textiles segment for taking up the same during the said meeting, Member-exporters are requested to email their issues by 25th May, Monday evening at baruah@srtepc.in, ed@srtepc.in.
