The India - Africa trade has grown significantly in the last decade. Since 2007, India has been having a trade deficit that is primarily due to the import of mineral fuels. India has been exporting to Africa products such as, fabrics, garments, High Speed Diesel (HSD), Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), medicines and pharmaceutical products, polypropylene (a polymer used in a wide variety of applications including packaging, textiles etc.), household articles of stainless steel and so on.
