As part of the Export Promotion Programmes of the Council for the year 2021-2022, the Council is organizing mobilization of participation of its members in

Texworld New York City
Apparel Sourcing New York City &
Home Textile Sourcing

All three shows are happening simultaneously in New York and on Virtual Platform from 20^th to 22^nd July 2021. This event is being organized under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.

The highlights of the event are as follows:

Dates of the Event : 20^th to 22^nd July 2021 (3 days)

Mode of the Event : Virtual

Organiser of the Event : Messe Frankfurt

Participation fees : Rs.64,000 (Exhibitors shall be refunded the partial participation fees as per Govt. MAI Scheme allocation)

About the Fair:

Texworld New York City is a dedicated sourcing marketing place for American apparels, brands, retailers, wholesalers, independent design firms and buying agencies to find the best domestic and apparel fabrics and finished apparel manufacturers. It is the only event in North America to focus on sourcing fabrics at a high quality-to-affordable price relationship. It is also the largest event in America offering the widest selection of apparel fabrics directly from the manufacturers. Around 300+ Exhibitors will be participating in the Fair.

Visitors/Attendees to the Fair:

Around 2000+ verified attendees are expected to visit the fair on Virtual platform which will include American Manufacturers, Trading Companies, Wholesalers, Retailers, Apparel Fashion Houses, Brands, Agents, Design firms/consultants and Buying houses.

In the Summer 2021 Edition the collection showcased is Autumn/Winter and with virtual showcase exhibitors continue to take advantage of the opportunity to market to international buyers without the need to travel to New York City.

Publicity & Promotion of the Event:

The Event will be publicized extensively by the Organisers of the Fair – Messe Frankfurt by inviting leading Buyers to attend the Fair, by advertising on their website, through their Media Partners, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Media Relations, On-site Marketing etc.

The Council will also extensively publicise the Event by sending Invites to the prominent Buyers to attend the Fair, seek support of the Indian Embassy to Advertise the event on the Indian Embassy’s website as well as coordinate with related local Textile Associations to advertise the event.

Textile Industry in USA:

Exports of Indian MMF textiles to the USA were US$ 595 million during 2019-20.
USA emerged as the leading market for Indian MMF textiles during 2019-20 with 10% share in India’s total MMF textiles exports.
Made-ups with US$ 305 million were the dominant products followed by Fibre US$ 52 million, Yarn US$ 72 million, Fabrics US$ 166 million during 22019-20.
The USA imported around US$ 10 billion of MMF textiles from world during 2019-20.

Instructions for the Exhibitors:

1. Application Form for participation:

Texworld New York City (application form) : The premier apparel fabric trade show on the East Coast
Apparel Sourcing New York City (application form) : Focusing on finished apparel, contract manufacturing & private label development
Home Textiles Sourcing (application form) : The only show in the USA to focus solely on home textile fabrics and finished soft goods.

In case, any participant has fabrics, as well as apparels and furnishing fabrics to display, they have to choose any one of the above-mentioned Forms depending upon their majority of products for display at large.

You are also requested fill the SRTEPC Application Form (download), which is mandatory as per the MAI guidelines.

Application Forms are to be duly filled-in with all the details, sign the Form, scan it and send it to tp@srtepc.in, srtepc@srtepc.in and not on the email id given in the Form. Please note, the last date for submitting your Application Form is 5^th July 2020.

Terms & Conditions for participation:

Participation will be accepted on “First-Come-First-Serve” basis with full payment.
Once payment is done by the exhibitor, the same will not be refunded, in case of withdrawal of your participation in the said event.
In case of any disputes, final decision lies with the Management of SRTEPC.
