Sub: Stakeholders Consultation with reference to Rules of Origin (RoOs) in India’s ongoing Enhanced Trade Partnership negotiations with UK and EU.
This is with reference to the ongoing India – EU Enhanced Trade Agreement (ETA) and India-UK Enhanced Trade Partnership (ETP) negotiations on Rules of Origin. The Department of Commerce is planning to hold a fresh round of consultations for determining India’s position on Product Specific Rules of Origin (PSR).
A Questionnaire (download) on Rules of Origin on which Members are requested to give their respective inputs. The filled Questionnaire (along with the detailed comments therein) may be sent to headcrt@crt.org.in or brahmleen@crt.org.in by 21.07.2021 under intimation to this Council at baruah@srtepc.in , ed@srtepc.in .
In this regard a Virtual Meeting with the Stakeholders of Textile Sector is scheduled on 22.07.2021 wherein the inputs will be taken up for discussion. Link for the same will be sent to the members who sends the duly filled in questionnaire as requested above, in due course.
Members are requested to do the needful suitably.
