Sub: Grievance Redressal Week from 30.08.2021 to 03.09.2021 called by Additional DGFT, Mumbai
Dear Member,
The Council has received Trade Notice No. 02/2021 dated 30th August 2021 from the Office of Additional DGFT, Mumbai informing about their decision to conduct a ‘Grievance Redressal Week’ starting from 30.08.2021 to 03.09.2021.
Members may please note that the following issues would be taken up during the Grievance Redressal Week:
Where there is an abnormal delay in processing the cases.
Deficiencies have been raised by O/o Addl. DGFT, Mumbai which is not consistent with the Foreign Trade Policy or Handbook of Procedures.
Any other issue in which exporters feel that special attention is required in respect of their pending cases.
Members who wish to address their cases in the Grievance Redressal Week may kindly send an email to mumbai-dgft@nic.in with a copy marked to the Council at the following email ids - ed@srtepc.in, sybil@srtepc.in, annie@srtepc.in with the subject matter: ‘Grievance Redressal Week’. Please mention clearly the nature of the issues that you want to raise so that the matter can be resolved.
Please note the following –
All the references received from the exporters during the Grievance Redressal Week will be diarized and a reference number would be issued to the exporters for further tracking and correspondence.
All such cases shall be processed by O/o Addl. DGFT Mumbai in chronological order of their grievances.
Members may please make a note that in case if there are a large number of grievances received from many exporters, then, only the first two grievances of each exporter would be taken up in this week. Rest of the pending grievances would be dealt subsequently.
Members are requested to kindly make a note of the above and do the needful as advised by O/o Addl. DGFT, Mumbai.
