Sub: Seeks to levy definitive anti-dumping duty on Mulberry Raw Silk (not thrown) of grade 3A and below, originating in, or exported from the People’s Republic of China, for a period of five years.
Dear Member,
The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance has issued Notification No. 1/2016-Customs (ADD) dated 28th January, 2016 regarding imposition of definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of ‘Mulberry Raw Silk (not thrown) of grade 3A and below’ falling under tariff item 5002 00 10 of Chapter 50 originating in, or exported from, the People’s Republic of China, and imported into India.
The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be effective for a period of five years (unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier) from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
Members are requested to make a note of the above.
