Sub: New excise rules for removal of goods at concessional rate of duty are applicable from March 16, 2016

Dear Member,

The Council would like to inform you that the Central Board of Excise & Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance vide Notification No.22/2016-Central Excise (NT) dt. 15.03.2016 has amended the Central Excise (Removal of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable and Other Goods) Rules, 2016.

These rules shall come into force on the 16th day of March, 2016.

Members concerned may please make a note of the above.
