Sub: Export Potential in Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua
Dear Member,
Greeting from the Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC).
We are glad to inform that this Council has received a communication from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, regarding export potential from India to LAC markets viz., Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
It is informed that the Embassy of India, Panama has suggested export potential in select sectors in its Commercial Report, January, 2021. A tabulated statement containing Textile products along with rationale in respect of Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua is enclosed for ready reference. (Refer Annexure).
Member-exporters dealing with the mentioned product/s should take this emerging opportunity and explore the possibility to export to these countries so that India’s exports market share can be increased and our export targets to these markets are achieved.
