Amendments in Chapter 5 of HBP 2015-20 related to Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme to reduce ‘Compliance Burden’ and enhance ‘Ease of doing Business’

Sub: Amendments in Chapter 5 of HBP 2015-20 related to Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme to reduce ‘Compliance Burden’ and enhance ‘Ease of doing Business’ 

Dear Member,       

We would like to inform you that DGFT has issued Public Notice No. 13/2015-2020 dated 9^th June, 2022  by making addition of a paragraph at the end of existing Para 5.15 of HBP in Chapter 5 related to EPCG authorizations with immediate effect.

DGFT has extended the time limit to file returns for the year 2022-23 till 30^th September, 2022 and late fees of Rs. 5,000/- shall be applicable for the returns due to be filed from 2022-23 onwards.”
