Re :  Participation in Textiles India : October 6 - 8, 2016 at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida

We are glad to inform you that “Textiles India 2016”, an International Textiles and Clothing Fair, is being organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicraft (EPCH) with the support and cooperation of other Textile/Clothing Export Promotion Councils including SRTEPC at the venue, as mentioned above.

Textiles India, which is an initiative of the Ministries of Textiles, and Commerce & Industries, Govt. of India, has been designed as a specialized Business to Business Fair in the Indian Textile Sector. Companies displaying products from both India and Overseas are scheduled to participate in the Fair. The Fair will be organized as the leading Fair for the Indian Textile and Apparel Industry in India with the changing global styles and demands of International Buyers to remain at the centre stage of global Fairs.

The main objective of organizing this International Fair is to showcase the wide ranging capabilities of India, as one of the leading manufactures/exporters of textiles and clothing, and also to highlight India’s attractiveness as a destination for joint ventures/investments etc. The Event is also intended to enhance “Brand Image” of Indian Textiles & Clothing to make them competitive to withstand International competition and capture new markets.

Details about the dates, venue, and participation charges etc. of the Fair are as follows :

• Name :  Textiles India 2016.
• Dates :   6^th to 8^th October, 2016(Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
• Venue:   India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Express way.
• Product Categories : The whole supply chain of Textiles Industry – covering from yarns to finished products, which include suitings, shirtings, ladies dress fabrics, made-ups, furnishing & home textiles, thread/yarn and garments will be displayed to target buyers and their agents visiting the show.
• Minimum size of Booth : 9 sq. mtr., though booth of bigger sizes may also be booked as per requirements of participating companies.
• Exhibitors : Companies both from India and overseas would participate in the Fair. With respect to Foreign participation, companies from the leading  textile markets like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, China, Pakistan and all South East Asian Countries would be invited to participate in the Mega International Textile Fair in Noida. E-commerce companies Testing Agencies and other allied service providers and those connected with the textile sectors will also be invited to participate in Textiles India 2016.

• Target Buyers : Textiles India Fair will be a B 2 B Show – offering sourcing opportunities to overseas buyers from all across the world. Indian Volume retail Buyers would also be invited to the Fair.
• Participation charges :
  1.     Furnished/Built up space : @ of Rs. 7000/- per sq. mtr.
  2.     Raw space : @ of Rs. 6500/- per sq. mtr.
     (Service Tax applicable extra on total amount)

How to Apply : Interested member-companies are, therefore, requested to confirm their participation to SRTEPC with an advance payment of 25% of the total amount of participation charge along with the duly filled in “Application Form” along with 25% of participation fee payable by a cheque/DD(for outstation candidates), drawn in favour of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai” at the earliest.
