Sub: Inputs for Pre-Budget Proposals 2023-24 in respect of Petrochemicals Sector 

Dear Member,         

We would like to inform you that the Council is in receipt of a very important message from the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers seeking inputs / data from member-exporters for Pre-Budget Proposals 2023-24 in the following format:

Further, the Ministry requests inputs from our members in respect of proposals for change in Central Customs, Excise Duty rates for specific commodities.

The proposed suggestions should be supported by relevant information on each commodity/product, such as its price (both indigenous and international), installed capacity and volume of indigenous production, as well as data on imports/exports of past two years.

Members are requested to send the domestic requirements and should also include the revenue implications and Impact of change in duty structure on domestic industry, if any.

We request our members to kindly send us your inputs/ data as per the above format by Thursday 29th September 2022 to es@srtepc.in with a copy marked to ed@rtepc.in and aed@srtepc.in for enabling us to send the same to the concerned department.   

Members may kindly make a note of the above and do the needful on an urgent basis.
