Sub: Invitation to participate in Webinar for Awareness and Implementation of Indian Standards on Agrotextiles – January 20th, 2023 at 11:00 am
Dear Member,
We are happy to inform you that Textiles Department, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is organizing an “Interactive Webinar on Proposed QCO’s on Identified Indian Standards under Agrotextile” on Friday, 20th January 2023 from 11:00 hrs onwards.
The webinar is organised under the aegis of 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav". The main objectives of the webinar is to spread awareness on product standards on Agrotextiles like Shade nets, Fencing Nets, Hail Protection Nets, Harvest Nets, HDPE Laminated Woven Lay Flat Tube, HDPE Vermi Beds, Nylon Gloves etc. Webinar will not only talk about the content of these standards but also disseminate valuable information on BIS certification process for implementation of standards. Through this webinar, it is envisaged to bring the manufacturers of Agrotextiles and BIS to a common platform for discussion on standards proposed by Ministry of Textiles (MoT) to be brought under Quality Control Order (QCO's) as well as its implementation related issues.
