Sub: Amendment in notification No. 12/2012-Customs, dated 17.03.2012 [S. No. 284A] so as to provide that the manufacturer or merchant-exporter, referred to therein, may also be registered with the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, in addition to Apparel Export Promotion Council or the Synthetic and Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Central Board of Excise and Customs(CBEC) has issued Notification No. 42/2016- Customs dated 11th July, 2016, making amendments in Notification No.12/ 2012-Customs dated 17th March, 2012 .
In the said notification, in the ANNEXURE, in Condition No. 28A, for the words “the Apparel Export Promotion Council or the Synthetic Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council”, occurring at both places, the words “the Apparel Export Promotion Council or the Synthetic and Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council or the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council“ shall be substitutes.
Members are requested to make a note of the above changes.
