Sub: Launch of special drive from 11.08.2016 to 11.11.2016 to resolve pending issues in drawback

Dear Member

This is to inform you that the Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Export- II), New Customs House, Mumbai  has issued a Public Notice No. 91/2016-17 dated 11^th August, 2016  on the above subject

In this connection, attention is invited to the pending Drawback Shipping Bills that are lying in the ICES 1.5 queue for want of reply from the Exporters

In the view of the above, a concerted drive has been launched from 11.8.2016 to 11.11.2016 to:-        

1. Weed out generalized queries or irrelevant requests for information in the query by undertaking a review of the database of queries and resolving such cases.
2. Redress the drawback cases where exporters have produced the documents/replied to queries and no sanction has been made.

Members concerned are requested to approach Deputy Commissioner (Drawback) with necessary documents to resolve the issue
