Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a Note Verbale regarding anti-dumping measures on polyester yarn.
The Note Verbale received is as follows:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey presents its compliments to Embassy of India, Ankara and has the honour to inform the esteemed Embassy on the following matter;
An interim review investigation was initiated by the Ministry of Economy of Turkey regarding prevention of dumping imposed on the import of “others, made of polyester” tariff position 5402.47 of Indian origin defined as “fully drawn yarn made of polyester”
Within this framework, regarding initiating investigation, the rescript for the prevention of unfair competition of imports dated 07/09/2016 and numbered 29824 published on the official Gazette (rescript no.2016/37), unclassified details of the complaint and the questionnaire form prepared to be delivered to the local manufacturers/importers based in the Republic of India can be accessed on “http://www.ekonomi.gov.tr” , by clicking the headings “Imports”, “Trade Defence Policies”, “Damping and Subsidy”, “Investigations”, “Interim Review Investigations”, “Poliesterden Düz İplikler – Hindistan (Fully Drawn Yarn – India).
As stated in the 10th article of the above-mentioned rescript, the questionnaire form is to be delivered to General Directorate of Imports within 37 days beginning from notification date indicated herein.
