Re : Participation in “Catalogue Show” being organized by Indian Consulate at Sheraton Saigon Hotel in HCMC on 23rd September, 2016
As you are aware by our earlier Circular message dated 9th September, 2016, the Indian Consulate in HCMC, Vietnam is organizing an exclusive interactive session with leading Vietnamese Buyers along with a “Catalogue Show” on 23rd September, 2016, which has recently been rescheduled by the Consulate to help them accommodate a larger number of Indian manufacturers / exporters of textiles.
In this context, as you are also aware, we would like to remind you that Vietnam has emerged as one of the very highly potential markets for exporting Indian Man-made Fibre Textiles including different varieties of fabrics, made-ups, yarn and fibre. Since Vietnam has a vibrant Garment Industry, which does source a lot of fabrics, among other textile raw materials, from various overseas destinations including India, the Council had earlier invited a strong Delegation of 22 potential buyers to visit Source India in Surat for exploring the possibility of discussing business with their Indian counterparts.
In this regard, we may mention here that in order to encourage the Vietnamese Buyers to visit the recently concluded Source India in Surat, your Council offered them complimentary air-tickets, hotel accommodations and local transportations to enable them get an exposure of our participating member-companies for doing business.
In this connection, you will be glad to know that all the visiting 12 Vietnamese Buyers, who attended Source India and met many of our member-participants during the Exhibition, were extremely happy after getting an exposure about the availability of Indian products. Accordingly, many of these buyers provided their excellent feed-backs expressing their happiness and satisfaction during their stay in Surat to the Indian Consulate in HCMC. They also expressed their keen interest to work with the Council’s member-companies to explore possibilities for sourcing their future requirements of textiles.
Considering this positive development, as informed above, Indian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which is a Business Hub / Commercial Hub of Vietnam, is organizing an Interactive Business Session with highly potential Vietnamese Buyers and in that connection, the Consulate is also holding a “Catalogue Show” in the sidelines of the Business Session on 23rd September, 2016 (Friday) for the further promotion of export of Indian MMF Textiles with an exponential growth in Vietnam. Since it is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for the Council’s member-companies to use this excellent occasion by arranging to send a small number of their product Brochures / Sample-products with corresponding product details for grabbing the attention of visiting potential Vietnamese buyers for developing business contacts, you are requested to grab this opportunity by sending the necessary materials directly to the Indian Consulate at the following address at the earliest with a copy of your message forwarded to the Council for necessary follow-ups, if needed :
