Participation in INTERMODA GUADALAJARA in Mexico from 17 to 20 January 2017

As you are aware, the Council is organizing participation of member-companies in INTERMODA GUADALAJARA being held from 17-20 January 2017 in Mexico, which is approve program of the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.

The highlights of the above program are given below for your quick perusal and prompt action :

Date of Exhibition : 17^th to 20^th January 2017 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday)
Type of Exhibition : Exclusive Textile & Apparel Fair
Venue of Exhibition : Expo Guadalajara Exhibition Centre
Timings : (i) 17 to 19^th Jan’17 : From 9 am to 8 pm
(ii) For 20^th Jan’17 : From 9 am to 5 pm
Products coverage : Textile items including Fabrics & Yarn; Apparels; Fashion Wears & Accessories, and Leather Garments, etc.
Participation charge : Rs.1.90 lakhs
Details of the last Exhibition as provided by the Organisers :

Total number of projected Exhibiting companies : 950
Total number of participating foreign countries : 12 countries including USA, Colombia, Spain, Brazil, Argentina
Total number of visitors : Around 20,000

Import potential of Mexican market :

Mexico’s total import of Textile & Clothing from world during 2015 : Over USD 10 Billion
Mexico’s total import of Apparels from world during 2015 : Over USD 3 Billion, of which India’s share was only 5.5%
Mexico’s total import of Manmade/Synthetic textiles from world during 2015 : over USD 5 Billion, of which India’s share was only 2% (USD 102 Million)
Leading suppliers of textiles to Mexico : USA, China, Taipei, Korea, India, Italy, Canada, etc.

As far as total Textile & Clothing are concerned, major suppliers are China, USA, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, etc.

Assistance of the Council : Council’s assistance will include helping participants by arranging hotel accommodation, obtaining visa, and booking of air-tickets.
Cancellation Policy : Cancellation will be decided on the basis of the following criteria :

80% cancellation charge if participation is withdrawn just after 7 days from the last date of application
No refund will be available, if participation is withdrawn on any date thereafter

As participation in INTERMODA GUADALAJARA is not-to-be-missed opportunity for manufacturers/exporters of textiles and apparel items, if interested, you must confirm your participation soon to book your space with those Buyers scheduled to visit their chosen suppliers of textiles/clothing for discussing business sitting across the table.

Since the last date for confirming participation has already elapsed, and also we need to finalize participation by making necessary payments to the Organisers, in case you are interested in participation, you need to confirm the same with full payment and duly filled-in Application Form at the earliest, but not later than 22^nd November 2017. Please note, if we do not receive your complete “Application Form (pdf) (doc)” with full payment on or before the stipulated last date, as mentioned above, we shall not be able to accept your participation thereafter.
