Sub: Standard Operating Procedure consequent to commencement of “Document Processing Area” in the Parking Plaza and Gate Automation for Export & Import through Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT) / Nhava Sheva International Gateway Terminal (NSIGT), Gateway Terminal Of India (GTI) & Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminal (JNPCT)
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Office of the Commissioner of Customs, JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public No. 163/2016 dated 01.12.2016 on the above subject.
In this connection, attention is invited of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade, Port Terminal Operator, Shipping Lines / Shipping Agents, CFSs coming under the jurisdiction of JNCH and all other stakeholders to the Public Notices issued by (JNCH) (including Public Notice No. 52/2009 dated 06.08.2009 & Public Notice no. 134/2016 dated 06.10.2016) about procedure in regard to Export of containers (entry of factory stuffed (including self-sealed) and CFS stuffed Export Containers into port terminals after granting of Let Export Order at Parking Area) and movement of Import Containers from Port Terminal to CFS/ICD as well as Direct Port Delivery to importers.
For more information on the standard operating procedure to be followed for movement of Containers to and from the Port Terminal, members may kindly refer to the Public Notices. The above Notice No. 163/2016 shall come into force w.e.f. 05.12.2016.
