Sub: Verification of Bank Guarantee (BG)/ Certificate on e-mail instead of Fax
Dear Member,
This is to inform you that the Office of the Commissioner of Customs, JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public No. 173/2016 dated 14.12.2016 on the above subject.
In this connection, attention is invited of the Exporters, Importers, Customs House Agents, Members of Trade and all the concerned to the issues raised during the Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee (PTFC) and other meetings regarding verification mechanism of Bank Guarantee/Certificates using different modes.
In order to make communication faster, paperless and easier, it is directed that verification/ confirmation of above mentioned documents should be done through e-mail by using official email- ids with immediate effect.
Members may kindly make note of the same.
