Sub: Setting up of Control Room for facilitation of trade on coming in force of 2017 Edition of the WCO Harmonized System Nomenclature w.e.f. 01.01.2017
Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs ( Sahar Air Cargo Customs) has issued Public Notice No. 52/ 2016 dated 29.12.2016 on the above subject.
Amendments have been made as per the 2017 Edition of WCO Harmonised System Nomenclature which includes 233 sets of amendments and divided into various categories, as follows:
a) Agriculture sector - 85
b) Chemical sector - 45
c) Wood sector - 13
d) Textile sector - 15
e) Base metal sector - 06
f) Machinery sector - 25
g) Transport sector - 18
h) Other sectors - 26
In view of the above, a Control Room will be operational from 31.12.2016 to 03.01.2017 (excluding 01.01.2017-Sunday) to guide and respond to queries of members of the Trade.
For any difficulty, members of Trade may contact the Officials posted in the Control Room as given below:
