Sub: 57th Joint Technological Conference to be held at Bombay Textile Research Association
Dear Member,
The Council is pleased to inform you that Bombay Textile Research Association is organizing the 57th Joint Technological Conference of Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA), Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA), The South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) and Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA). Details of the Conference is as follows;
Date: 17th and 18th February, 2017 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
Venue: BTRA Premises, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Ghatkopar (W), Mumbai- 400 086.
Participation fees: Registration fees Rs. 1200/- per delegate including Service Tax
Chief Guest : Dr. Kavita Gupta, Textile Commissioner
The presentation in this premier conference will be based on recent R & D trends and of immediate importance to the industries in all major textile areas from the four Textile Research Association (TRAs). The conference provides threadbare discussions on R&D carried out by the four Textile Research Associations and possibility of adopting them in the industry. Also, BTRA is planning to have one dedicated session on ‘Geosynthetics’ which is jointly being organised with Office of the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Moreover, German textile machinery manufacturing companies will also participate in this conference by way of presentation and networking with the participants. The brief details about the conference and research papers to be presented by the TRAs are enclosed alongwith the Delegate Registration Form.
