Sub: Amendment in Notification no. 131/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated 31.10.2016 relating to AIR of duty drawback
Dear Member,
CBEC has issued Notification No. 03/ 2017- Customs (NT) dated 12.01.2017 regarding the amendments in Notification No. 131/2016- Customs (NT) dated 31.10.2016 relating to AIR of duty drawback. This notification shall be effective from 15.01.2017.
In the said notification, amendments have been made under the following:
(viii) in chapter - 57, - Carpets and other textile floor coverings against tariff items 570104, 570203, 570303, 570402 and 570503.
ix) in chapter – 61- Articles of Apparel and Clothing accessories knitted or crocheted against tariff items 611101.
(x) in chapter – 62- Articles of Apparel and Clothing accessories not knitted or crocheted 4%, against tariff item 620901
Members are requested to make note of the above changes.
