Sub: Review of Indian Standard formulated by Man-Made Fibres, Cotton and their Product Sectional Committee

Dear Member,

We have received a communication from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regarding the review of Indian Standard formulated by Man-Made Fibres, Cotton and their Product Sectional Committee.

As you may be aware, all published standards are required to be reviewed every five years to ensure that these standards are in line with the requirements of industry and trade, in accordance with BIS Rules 1987.   Accordingly, following Indian standards formulated by TXD 31 have become due for review. These standards were last reviewed in 2011/12.  

Members are requested to kindly examine the contents of the Bureau of Indian Standards and send your valuable observations/comments, if any to SRTEPC (es@srtepc.in) latest by 13th Feb 2017.

Members are requested to make note of the above and do the needful.
