Sub: Installation and commissioning of Customs RAPISCAN 620 DV facility for checkpoint screening system at New Custom House.
Dear Member,
Mumbai Customs as issued Public Notice No.19/2017 dated 10.02.2017 regarding the commissioning of checkpoint screening facility recently installed at Gate No. 2, at NCH, Ballard Estate, Mumbai to ensure the security of the building and its occupants. The effective date of commencement of checkpoint screening system will be 15.02.2017.
In view of the above, all stake holders, general public are requested to enter Custom House premises from the main entrance of the old building only and the entry will be regulated through a metal detector and screening of hand baggage through the RAPISCAN 620 DV screening machine.
Any difficulty encountered must be immediately brought to the notice of the Additional Commissioner Of Customs /Prev. (General) in charge of CHS Section.
