Sub: Review of All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback under GST
Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that the Drawback Committee will be visiting Mumbai on Friday, 28th April, 2017 for seeking suggestions and views of EPCs on the All Industry Rates of Duty Drawback under GST.
To ensure smooth transition to GST framework, the Drawback committee will formulate and recommend revised All Industry Rates (AIRs) of drawbacks on exports and/ or any other relevant drawback like rebate to be implemented for exports in the context of GST environment.
In order to help us prepare appropriate rates (for your product/s) on your behalf, we request you to kindly send/provide us relevant documents such as Shipping Bills, Bills of Entry etc. Timely receipt of the mentioned/desired data will greatly help us to keep the same ready to be presented before the Drawback Authority for approving the rates.
In this regard, please note as under:
The data pertaining to export prices and various input(s)/service(s) which are used in the manufacture of export product should be of the year 2016-17.
Since the data is required urgently, we request you to send us your documents by 15th April, 2017 positively at (es@srtepc.in).
We solicit your support and co-operation in this important matter and look forward to receive the required information at the earliest. Your diligent information in this regard will help us to provide enhanced Drawback Rate to the Government for its consideration in the GST.
