Participation in “TEXTILES INDIA”, a mega Exhibition of textiles organized by MOT in Gandhinagar with participation of all EPCs from 30th June to 2nd July 2017

Re: Participation in “TEXTILES INDIA”, a mega Exhibition of textiles organized by MOT in Gandhinagar with participation of all EPCs from 30th June to 2nd July 2017

As you are aware, SRTEPC along with other Export Promotion Councils, is organizing a mega participation of its member-companies in the prestigious Textile Show in India, which is named: “TEXTILES INDIA”. This mega Show of Textiles, a Flagship Program of the Ministry of Textiles (MOT), Govt. of India with active involvement of all the textiles Export Promotion Councils and related Bodies/Associations, is being organized from 30th June to 2nd July, 2017 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. TEXTILES INDIA, which is being organized with participation of around 1000 exhibitors – representing all textile EPCs/other organizations/institutions and invitation of around 2500 Foreign Buyers, Agents, Senior Executives of Buying Houses/Retail Chain Stores, Textile Traders and Fashion Designers with complimentary facilities, is scheduled to be inaugurated by Shri. Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 30th June, 2017. In order to make this flagship program of the Ministry of Textiles more significant and memorable, Conferences, Country/State sessions, Theme Pavilion, Fashion Shows, Roundtables by Industrial Associations/Councils, B2B & B2G Meetings will also be organized on the sidelines of TEXTILES INDIA.

Considering the above, SRTEPC is mobilizing around 150 member-companies – representing different product groups including suitings, shirtings, made-ups, home textiles, dress materials, fashion fabrics, sarees and different varieties of yarn and fibre. The Council is also inviting around 100 Foreign Buyers from the leading markets/regions of textiles including Asia, Africa, Middle East/Gulf, Latin America, Europe and CIS countries with complimentaries. In this regard, in order to invite the prominent buyers from the leading buying countries of textiles, participating member-companies will also be allowed to give specific references of some big buyers, who they consider useful for their visit to TEXTILES INDIA for discussing business with their Indian Counterparts.

With the above arrangements, since TEXTILES INDIA presents an excellent opportunity to the SRTEPC member-companies to participate in the above mentioned prestigious Show of Textiles in Gandhinagar by showcasing their complete range of products for discussing business with their discerning Foreign Customers from more than 30 leading markets of textiles across the world, TEXTILES INDIA is, therefore, a “not-to-be-missed” opportunity.

Participation fees : In order to mobilize participation of a large number of member-companies including those financially weak for not being able to visit foreign countries to meet their target customers for negotiating business, the participation charge in TEXTILES INDIA has highly been subsidized. Accordingly, participation charges have been fixed up on the basis of the following:

  1. Charges for built-up area/furnished booth) : Participants may like to book 9 sqm or 12 sqm sized furnished booths (built up area) @ Rs.4500 per sqm + 15% Service Tax.  This will mean that a 9 sqm and a 12 sqm sized furnished booth will cost Rs.40,500/- and Rs.54,000/- respectively without 15% Service Tax. Member-companies can also book additional space by multiple of 3 sqm for booth sizes like 15, 18 and this way up to a maximum area of 36 sqm built up area.
  2. Charges for Raw-space : Member-companies willing to construct a booth of their own design, they may like to book a minimum area raw space of 36 sqm with a cost of Rs. 1,44,000 (@ Rs. 4000 per sqm) plus 15% Service Tax. Anyone desiring to have a bigger area of raw space, may also like to book their space accordingly.

How to make payments : Your payment for participation charges may be made by a cheque /DD to be drawn in favor of “The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council, Mumbai” on the basis of the following installments and corresponding last dates :

  1. Duly filled in Application Form along with 50% advance payment towards participation fee on or before 2nd May, 2017.
  2. Balance 50% payment towards participation fees must, however, be sent to the Council latest by 31st May, 2017.

Terms & Conditions :

  1. Minimum size of built up area is 9 sqm and the maximum size of a furnished booth is 36 sqm.
  2. Minimum size of raw space is 36 sqm, though booking of bigger area of raw space is available.
  3. Above mentioned participation fee for a 9 sqm furnished booth includes 1 discussion table, 2 chairs, 4 spot lights, 1 power socket, carpet and company name on the Facia. Hence, any additional requirement of furnitures/product display equipments will have to be paid by participants on actual cost basis.
  4. Member-companies, willing to book raw space, all other additional requirements for constructing booths, designing charges, and arrangements of necessary furnitures/product display equipments including cost for electrical fittings and consumption of power etc, will have to be borne on their own.
  5. All participants should depute their own representatives for manning their booths on their own, and accordingly, all the necessary cost relating to their travelling, accommodations etc will have to be borne directly by their companies.
  6. Since “Online Registration” of participating companies is compulsory, all participating member-exhibitors will need to login into www.textilesindia2017.com for ensuring their online registration. 
  7. Participation in the above program will be based on “First-Come-First-Served” basis.
  8. Last date for confirming participation with 50% advance payment towards participation charges is 2nd May 2017.  However, the balance 50% payment must be sent to the Council on or before 31st May, 2017.
  9. Confirmation of participation will not be considered if duly filled in Application Form and 50% advance payment towards participation charges do not reach to the Council on or before 2nd May, 2017.
  10. While 75% cancellation charge will be imposed on advance payment, if participation is withdrawn on or before 10th May, 2017, no refund will be available, if withdrawn thereafter.
  11. All participants must comply with basic guidelines of the Organizers for participation in the programme.
