Dear Sir,

Change of Authorised Representative for participation in the Election

At the next Annual General Meeting of the Council which is scheduled to be held in the month of September 2017, Election to fill the vacant seats in the Committee of Administration of the Council will be held.  As you are aware, only the authorised representatives of the Ordinary Members whose names have been registered in the Council are eligible to vote and stand for election.

In view of the above, you are requested to kindly intimate the name of your authorised representative along with his signature in the enclosed specimen signature card as otherwise your existing representative name as mentioned above will be recognised and accepted for the purpose of election.

You may also kindly note that as per the Articles of Association of the Council, the rules regarding the representative are as follows:

• A sole proprietary firm or Hindu undivided family shall be represented by its proprietor or Karta, as the case may be.
• A partnership firm shall be represented by any one of the partners authorised by the firm.
• A Company or Co-operative Society shall be represented by any one of the Directors or any person in the position of Directors authorised by a resolution of Directors.
