Sub: Amendment in Notification No. 131/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated 31.10.2016 relating to All Industry Rates (AIRs) of duty drawback
Dear Sir,
The Government has issued Notification No. 59/2017- Customs (NT) dated 29.06.2017 by making amendments in Notification No. 131/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated 31.10.2016 relating to All Industry Rates (AIRs) of duty drawback. The relevant extract of the Notification showing the amendments/substitution in the “Drawback Caps and rates” are given here-below :

Regarding amendment in Notification No. 131/2016-Customs (N.T.) dated 31.10.2016 relating to AIRs of duty drawback |
The Government makes following amendments in Notification No. 131/2016 - Customs (N.T.), dated the 31st October, 2016, namely:
(a) In the said notification,- (a) in the Notes and conditions,-
in paragraph (17), after the word “bleached”, the words “or melange” shall be inserted;
(b) in paragraph 4, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall have effect after the 30th day of September, 2017.”
This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 2017.
