Sub: Priority in ‘Assessment’ of Bill of Entry of DPD Status Holder in JNCH
Dear Member,
JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public Notice No. 87/ 2017 dated 30.06.2017 on the above subject.
As trade facilitation measures, it has been decided that,
- Any request received from the DPD Importer by the concerned Group AC/DC, either through letter or SMS/whatsapp at their mobile numbers listed on JNCH website or by email at appraisingmain.jnch@gov.in should be attended by the concerned Group immediately.
- If such Bill of Entry is not assessed on priority, for any reason thereof, within 6 hours of the request made, then the concerned Group AC/DC should place such Bill of Entry details before the concerned ADC/JC for taking necessary action in the matter.
- Even if, assessment of such Bill of Entry is not resolved at the level of concerned ADC/JC on the same working day, then the matter should be immediately brought to the notice of concerned Commissioner for necessary action.
- A databank with regard to such request received in the Group/s should also be maintained.
Members may kindly make note of the same and do the needful.
