Task Force on Textiles India 2017
Textiles India 2017, a first ever mega International Trade Fair was successfully held during 30th June-2nd July 2017 in Gandhinagar. Besides the Exhibition, 26 round tables and 6 conferences with participation of eminent speakers from India and overseas to deliberate on aspects of the textiles and apparel industry.
The Council would now like to inform that a task force has been set up by the Ministry of Textiles to carry forward the achievements of Textiles India 2017 and implement the recommendations of roundtables and Conferences.
The Committee will examine the recommendations of roundtables and Conferences for appropriate policy interventions, review the progress of MoUs, follow up on business enquiries generated during Textiles India 2017 and planning and strategy for holding similar future trade events.
Your inputs on the same are welcome to prepare the policy documents.
