Sub: Furnishing of Bank details to Custom Authorities at the ports of export for claiming ROSL
Dear Member,
The Council has received a communication from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India informing us that review progress of release against claims of exporters under RoSL Scheme has revealed that a large number of bank accounts of exporters are not validated leading to rejection of the claims.
Therefore, all exporters are requested by the Ministry to furnish immediately correct Bank details to Custom Authorities at their respective ports to expedite disbursal of RoSL as per advisories on ICEGATE website issued from time to time by Systems Directorate of CBEC.
The Drawback Division in Department of Revenue has also informed that non-validation of bank account number is indicated on the Shipping Bill printout itself for the benefit of exporters.
Members are requested to make a note of the above and do the needful immediately for claiming RoSL.
