Sub: Non-Residential five day Design Workshop on “Introduction to Design thinking and methods”
Dear Member
We are pleased to inform you that the internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary design institute, National Institute of Design (NID), has announced a Design workshop on “Introduction to Design Thinking and Methods”.
The details of the Workshop are as follows:
Date: 13th November to 17th November 2017
Venue: NID campus, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Time: 09.30am to 05.30pm
Workshop conducted by: Dr. Gayartri Menon
The industry and online Programmes at NID integrates design knowledge and education with the varied segments of industry, commerce and service sectors. The key focus of this programme is to give a basic exposure to design thinking and practice and understand how it could be a key differentiating factor in the industry with an exposure to various aspects of design: visual, creative, user centric and strategic design, to develop a basic understanding of design thinking, design methods, user centric design, collective idea generation methods and practice in modern context and to give the participants a hands on experience on the various user understanding and collective idea generation methods practiced in design.
These focused design workshops are conducted at the lush-green campus of NID, Ahmedabad, by experienced faculty and other distinguished design professionals and experts.
