Sub: Implementation of paperless processing under SWIFT- Uploading of supporting documents
Dear Member,
We are pleased to inform that Air Cargo Complex (Sahar) has issued Public No.47/2017 dated 22.12.2017 on the above subject.
Your attention is invited to the CBEC Circular No. 40/2017 Customs dated 13.10.2017 vide which a facility to upload supporting documents electronically with digital signature i.e. eSANCHIT has been launched on pilot basis since 21.10.2017 at Air Cargo Complex, Delhi and Chennai Customs Houses.
It has now been decided to implement eSANCHIT application at AIR Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai also.
Members may kindly refer to the CBEC Circular No. 40/2017 Customs dated 13.10.2017 that outlines the procedure for pilot implementation of paperless processing under Single Window Interface for Facilitation of Trade (SWIFT).
Accordingly, on a voluntary basis, all the supporting documents of all the appraising groups may be uploaded on ICEGATE. A step by step procedure for uploading supporting document along with FAQs is available on CBEC website at

In this connection, Shri. Prasath J, Assistant. Commissioner, EDI, has been appointed as Nodal officer for e-SANCHIT.
