Sub: Issues relating to GST
Dear Member,
As you may be aware that the Government has fixed an export target for 2017-18 for the MMF textiles. However, in the current scenario, the achievement of this target appears to be difficult due to the effects of GST.
It has been observed that our members are facing issues related to GST regarding delay in Refund Process of ITC, Refund of IGST under GST etc. In this regard, if you have any issues/suggestions related to matters to be taken up with any Government Organization, you may kindly send us the same so that they can be taken up at appropriate level.
In order to revive the MMF Textile Sector and to boost exports, we request you to kindly send us your issues (in the Format enclosed) latest by 8th January, 2018 positively to es@srtepc.in, ed@srtepc.in and baruah@srtepc.in so as to enable us to take up the issues with the concerned Ministry/Authority.
