Sub: Procedure for self- sealing and e-sealing of containerized cargo at factory/approved warehouse premises prescribed vide the Public Notice No 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to our earlier Circular No.ES/234/2017-18 dated 22.11.2017 wherein JNCH (Nhava Sheva) had issued Public Notice No. 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017 regarding procedures to be carried for obtaining Self Sealing Permission for Electronic Sealing of containerized cargo at factory or warehouse premises.
Now, JNCH has issued Public Notice No. 161/2017 dated 29.12.2017 on the above subject.
Vide Circular No. 51/2017 dated 21.12.2017, CBEC has extended the date for implementation of electronic sealing for containers by exporters under self- sealing procedure to 01.03.2018. Hence, the validity of the Public Notice No 147/2017 dated 16.11.2017 is hereby extended up to 28.02.2018.
