Sub : PREVIEW IN DAEGU -2018 – Textile Fair in South Korea March 7- 9, 2018

We would like to inform you that The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council is organizing participation of its member-companies in “PREVIEW IN DAEGU 2018” – Textile Fair in Daegu, South Korea.  Products covered by this Fair are textiles including yarn, fabrics, home textiles, and Garments. The Fair, which started in 2001 has over the years gained a reputation and attracts a large number of buyers from South Korea as well as from other Countries. 

The details of the Fair are as follows :

  • Name of the Event               :  PREVIEW IN DAEGU 2018
  • Dates                                     :  March 7-9, 2018 / 3 days
  • Timings                                 :  10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m . Closing day ( 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m )
  • Venue                                    :  1 F EXCO, Daegu, South Korea.
  • Booth size                            :  9 sq.mtrs each ( with basic facility equipped)
  • Participation fee                  : Rs.1.20 lakhs for furnished booth of 9 sqm.
  • Booth Package                    : Partition, signboard, lighting, 1 unit of shelf, 2 units of   portable hanger, 1 unit of information desk, 1 set of desk and chairs              
  • Exhibitors Profile                : Textiles including yarn, fabrics, home textiles & garments

Indian Exports of MMF Textiles to South Korea : We had an export trade of about USD 68.30 Million with South Korea during the year 2016-17, which includes fabrics (USD 14.25 Million), Yarn (USD 46.61 Million), Made-ups (USD. 3.72 Million) and Fibre (USD.3.72 Million)

Indian Exports of Textiles & Clothing to South Korea:

  • Export of textiles & clothing from India to South Korea in 2016-17 was to the tune of US$ 364.29 million.
  • India is the 3nd largest exporter of cotton yarn to South Korea next to China and Vietnam.
  • Export of cotton yarn in 2016-17 was US$ 116.10 million.
  • India is the 3rd largest exporter of cotton fabrics to South Korea next to China and Vietnam.
  • Export of cotton fabrics in 2016-17 was US$ 82.98 million.
