This is to inform you that Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) is organizing 9th “Asian Textile Conference” (ATEXCON) in ITC Maratha, Mumbai on 14th March 2018. The Theme of ATEXCON is “Textile Industry: Moving Beyond the Conventional Paradigms”.
ATEXCON will be inaugurated by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Honorable Union Minister of Textiles, Govt. of India. Other senior government officials, policy makers & trade experts from Ministries of Textiles, Finance, Commerce, etc. and related departments will also be invited to deliberate on important policy aspects.
ATEXCON brings together the leading players of Asian Textile Industry, global input suppliers and service providers to deliberate on key areas of business, including regional as well as global issues concerning this sector. The Conference also focuses on the emerging opportunities through cross country cooperation. ATEXCON has also become an important platform for discussing the major technological advancement happening in the textile industry & raw material field and showcase the best practices in textile value chain. The event is designed to benefit participants through direct interactions with government officials, industry, mill-owners, potential customers of machinery and other inputs.

It may be mentioned here that though no participation fee is needed for attending the said conference, participation will be accepted on the basis of invitation by the Organizers.
