Re: A Program to showcase growth of Textile Sector in Karnataka & achievements of Ministry of Textiles through its various schemes, and to inaugurate a Study on “Challenges of MMF Textile Value Chain” on the sideline of the Event
Dear Sir/s,
A very special Program is being organized by the Office of the Textile Commissioner and SRTEPC at Hotel Lalit Ashok, Bangalore on 11th and 12th March 2018 to showcase the growth of Textile Sector in Karnataka and the achievements of the Ministry of Textile through its various schemes in the State of Karnataka.
The objective of the program is to attract fresh and additional investments in the Textile Industry and to augment employment, production and exports of textiles by way of creating further awareness regarding the benefits of various schemes to the potential investors. It will also provide a platform for handholding the textile entrepreneurs through counters, which will be set-up during the Event for this purpose.
The Hon’ble Minister of Textiles will grace the occasion, and would also launch iPower Tex India, an online portal with online application facilities for various schemes under Power Tex India as well as iPower Tex, an Android Mobile App. The Hon’ble Minister of Textiles will also inaugurate a Study on “Challenges of MMF Textile Value Chain – Strategic Approach for Development and Export”. On the sideline of the program, there will be a Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) of Powerloom Products to provide Market Development Assistance under Power Tex India to manufacturers of Powerloom Fabrics and other products during the above mentioned 2-day Event. Shri. Ananth Kumar, Hon’ble Union Minister of Chemicals, Fertilizers & Parliamentary Affairs has also consented to attend the program.
