Sub: List of Exporters whose Validation of Bank accounts by PFMS is still pending with Sahar Air Cargo customs
Dear Member,
We have received a communication from Sahar Air Cargo customs informing the Council that they have issued a list of those Exporters whose Validation of Bank accounts by PFMS is still pending.
As you are aware, the Govt. of India has undertaken a drive to weed out the pendency of IGST as well as ROSL export related Refunds. The Export Commissionerate of ACC, Sahar, Mumbai has been pro-active in its approach through various reach out programmes / Seminars Cum Interactive Awareness workshops to inform, expose and educate Exporters, Export related Organizations, Customs Brokers Associations, Trade and other stakeholders.
It has been observed by Sahar Air Cargo Customs that in every interactive session as well as through Facility Notices and Public Notices, they have been reminding exporters to validate their bank accounts in Customs EDI system to be accepted by PFMS (Public Finance Management System), so that all the export related refunds can be smoothly credited to their accounts through PFMS.
Sahar Air Cargo Customs had recently issued Public Notice No 65/2018 dated 08/05/2018 once again requesting all the exporters to validate their bank accounts duly accepted by PFMS as even the Drawback Disbursement will be initiated through PFMS like IGST Refunds and ROSL Refunds.
According to them, at least 220 exporters have still not validated their bank accounts to be accepted by PFMS thereby resulting in non disbursement of Refunds even after refunds being scrolled out in some of the cases. (Excel sheet attached with IEC who have not validated their bank accounts or found rejected by PFMS)
We request all our members to go through the attached list and in case your name appears in the list, please revalidate your bank accounts duly accepted by PFMS so that initiative of Govt. of India in Refund Disbursal becomes successful.
