Sub: Request for data related to GST embedded due to inverted duty structure for reviewing of All Industry Rates (AIRs) of Duty Drawback for the year 2018
Dear Member,
As you may be aware, the Government is proposing to review the All Industry Rates (AIRs) of Duty Drawback for the year 2018 with reference to the incidence of Customs and Central Excise duties on goods manufactured for export. Also, there is a proposal to cover MMF Yarn and Fabrics under ROSL.
In this connection, the Council has received a communication requesting for data related to GST embedded due to inverted duty structure (copy of Format in Sheet 1 is enclosed).
For more details, members can refer to Annexure- A (given in Sheet 2).
The data provided should be of manufacturers/manufacturer exporters and certified by the manufacturer and its Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant.
The above requested information sent by you will help the Council in pursuing the matter for revising the rates of MMF Textiles in the AIR Drawback Schedule and ROSL, suitably.
Members are kindly requested to send us the above data to the Council at the following email ids (ed@srtepc.in, and es@srtepc.in) latest by 19th June, 2018 for enabling us to prepare Calculations based on your data for a suitable Drawback Rate to the Drawback Division for consideration.
Members may kindly make a note of the above and do the needful at the earliest.
