Dear Member,
We would like to inform you that JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public Notice No. 118/ 2018 dated 01st August, 2018 on the above subject..
Your kind attention is invited to the Board Circular 26/2017-Cus dated 01.07.2017,36/2017-Cus.,dated 28.08.2017 and 41/2017-Cus. dated 30.10.2017 regarding implementation of self-sealing of export containers.
JNCH ( Nhava Sheva) has noticed that a large number of exporters have not declared the seal type at the shipping bill filing stage even though they are self-sealing the cargo using (RFID) seal.
In view of the above, members are advised to necessarily declare the seal type in the column so provided in the shipping bill at the time of filing of shipping bill so as to reap full benefit of the risk management system.
