Sub.: Due dates for furnishing of FORM GSTR-1 with aggregate turnover of more than Rs. 1.5 crores for the months from July, 2018 to March, 2019
Dear Member,
As you are aware, Form GSTR-1 is a return form for the regular taxpayers who have to file details of outward supplies on every 10th of next month for those who cross the turnover of more than 1.5 crores annually.
In this connection, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has issued Notification No. 32/2018-Central Tax dated 10th August, 2018 prescribing the due dates for furnishing of FORM GSTR-1 with aggregate turnover of more than Rs. 1.5 crores for the months from July, 2018 to March, 2019.
You may also be aware, that earlier the due date for filing of FORM GSTR- 1 was as follows –

Now, CBIC, on the recommendations of the GST Council has extended the time limit for furnishing the details of outward supplies in FORM GSTR-1, by registered persons having aggregate turnover of more than 1.5 crore rupees in the preceding financial year or the current financial year, for each of the months from July, 2018 to March, 2019 till the 11th day of the succeeding (next) month.
With regard to the above, now the filing of FORM GSTR-1 for the month of August, 2018 has to be done till 11th September, 2018.
The time limit for furnishing the details or return, for the months of July, 2018 to March, 2019 shall be subsequently notified in the Official Gazette.
Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
