Sub.: Seeks to extend the due date for filing of FORM GSTR-3B for the month of July, 2018
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to the Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/159/2018-19 dated August 13, 2018 wherein Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) had issued Notification No. 34/2018-Central Tax dated 10th August, 2018 specifying that the return in FORM GSTR-3B for each of the months from July, 2018 to March, 2019 shall be furnished electronically through the common portal, on or before the 20th of the succeeding (next) month.
Now, CBIC has issued Notification No. 35/2018 dated 21st August, 2018, which amends the Notification No. 34/2018 – Central Tax dated 10th August, 2018 by extending the last date for filing of return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of July, 2018 till 24th August, 2018.
In case you have not filed your return in FORM GSTR- 3B for the month of July, 2018, you are requested to do the needful immediately as the date of filing is extended till tomorrow i.e. 24th August, 2018.
Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
