Sub.: Corrigendum to Notification No.25/2015-2020 dated 17.08.2018
Dear Member,
Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No.ES/166/2018-19 dated 18th August, 2018 wherein O/o DGFT had inserted Chapter Policy Condition No. 6 in Chapter 27 of ITC (HS) 2017 relating to Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes., under Schedule 1 (Import Policy) vide Notification No. 25/2015- 2020 dated 17th August, 2018.
Now, O/o DGFT has issued Notification No. 30/2015-20 dated 28th August, 2018 regarding the correction made in the import policy of Petroleum Bitumen (Exim Code 27132000) and Other residues of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous minerals (Exim Code 27139000) of the Notification No.25/2015-2020 dated 17th August, 2018.
In this connection, the two HS codes 27132000 and 27139000 are not Petcokes and hence, they are withdrawn from the ambit of the Notification No. 25/2015- 2020 dated 17th August, 2018 and import policy of these items is restored to ‘Free’.
