CBIC extends the last date for filing of FORM GSTR-3B for the month of September, 2018 till 25.10.2018 for all taxpayers

Sub: CBIC extends the last date for filing of FORM GSTR-3B for the month of September, 2018 till 25.10.2018 for all taxpayers

Dear Member,

Kindly refer to Council’s earlier Circular No. ES/ 255/2018-19 dated 22^nd October, 2018 wherein Ministry of Finance had issued a Press Release on 21^st October, 2018 extending the deadline for filing summary sales return i.e. GSTR-3B for the month of September till 25^th October, 2018.

Now, CBIC has issued Notification No. 55/2018- Central Tax dated 21^st October, 2018 by making amendments in Notification No. 34/2018 — Central Tax dated 10^th August, 2018 and further extending the due date for filing of FORM GSTR-3B for the month of September, 2018 till 25^th October, 2018 for all taxpayers instead of 20^th October, 2018.

Members may kindly make a note of the above amendments.
