Sub.: Operationalization of Drive Through Scanner; Procedure to be followed for scanning of containers selected for scanning
Dear Member,
We are pleased to inform you that JNCH (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public Notice No. 146/2018 dated 9th November, 2018 informing about the set up of “Drive-through Scanner” next to PUB, Port-Karal Road.
A “Drive-through Scanner” has been installed next to PUB, Port-Karal Road. It will be fully functional from 1st November 2018 after successful “Site Acceptance Test” and trial operation. It is a high speed container scanner and efficient operation of this scanner is expected to further reduce dwell time for import significantly.
Further, JNCH has prescribed procedures that need to be followed for scanning of containers selected for scanning at “Drive Through Scanner” (for both DPD importers and non-DPD Importers
